It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Nelson of Boonton Township, New Jersey, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on October 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Soren Nelson and Cora Nelson; and his sisters, Karen and Ingrid. He is survived by: his pets, Abby and Baxter; his stepdaughter Heidi Biro (Vic) of Lincoln Park; his grandchildren, Heather Truesdale (Andrew) of Boonton Township, Aaron Wright of Rockaway, Josh Wright and Rosie Di Maggio of Boonton Township; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Grayson Truesdale; his siblings, Eunice and Eric; and his close friend Ed Vnencak.
