It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muriel Mayer (Bogota, New Jersey), born in River Vale, New Jersey, who passed away on January 30, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her child Cathleen Mayer; her parents, Bernard and Grace; and her siblings, Frank and Bernardine.

She is survived by: her spouse Roy L. Mayer; her children, Kevin Mayer (Lissa) and Timothy Mayer (Doreen); her grandchildren, Megan Stengel (Matthew), Cory Mayer (Samantha Tricoli) and Patrick Mayer; and her great grandchildren, Eamon, Mary Katherine and Theresa Stengel. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren and in her retirement toured the world via numerous cruises with her husband and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Muriel's name to The River Vale Volunteer Ambulance Corps or The Alzheimer's Association.
