He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosetta Collis and Harry Collis; his significant other Diane Paino; his children, Michelle Marie of North Carolina, Nathalie Marie (Miguel Portilla) of North Carolina and Michael Edmund of North Carolina; his siblings, Nora Poli (John), Harry Collis (Patricia), Edmund Collis (Kathleen) and Janet Bravo (Augustin); his brother-in-law Ralph Marano (Susie); his sister Peggy Marano; and his nieces and nephews, Nora Jean, Ian, Harry, Charles, Catherine, Dan, Jack, Delia, Michael, Peggy and Joe.

Due to Covid restrictions, private family services are being held.
