He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhard Sorge and Gertrude Fatzer Sorge. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ballantyne; his children, Jessica, Rebecca Sorge, Reinhard E. Sorge (Kelly) and Richard Hanley (Bronwyn); and the mother of his children Peggy Sorge. He is also survived by loving grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
