He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Schuster, Sr. and Rose Schuster (Hart); his wife Betty Marie Schuster (Hornbaker); and his brother John Schuster. He is survived by: his son Robert Schuster (Geri) of Whitehouse Station; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Joan Fleming; and his grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Kaitlin and Timothy.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center or Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
