He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Korinek and Rose Rongo Korinek; and his sisters, Rita Perks and Helen McAteer. He is survived by: his wife Debi; his stepdaughter Sarah Martinez (Marcus); his stepgrandchildren, Jace, Miles and Jesse Fatouras; and his nieces and nephews, Denise Licini, Richard Perks, Jeff Perks, Maureen Meneghin and Mark McAteer.
