He was predeceased by: his father John; and his brother Harold Smith. He is survived by: his mother Joan Smith; his sisters, Karen Kaplon, Kathy Smith, Cynthia Eggleston and Constance McManus; and also Nancy Disbrow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
