She is survived by: her sons, John (late Terry) and George (Iris); her grandchildren, Brian Beck (Antoinette), Danielle Mann (Christian), Jason Verblaauw (Jillian) and Victoria Verblaauw; her great grandchildren, Brianna Harlee (Alex), Skylar Terry, Giavanna, Liam Beck, Jerico, Jacob and Jared Torres; and her great great grandchild Lisa Suzann.
In addition to her roles as a mother, grandmother, and friend, Gertrude was known for her vibrant personality and enriching contributions to the Troop 62 Boy Scout Committee in Paterson, NJ, a role that showcased her dedication to youth development and community service.
