He is survived by: his parents, Antoinette Schmidt and Robert Schmidt; his wife Michele Schmidt; his children, Stephanie (Christopher), Victoria and Michael; his grandson Gavin; his siblings, Kristina (Timothy) and Michael (Ariane); and his nieces and nephews, Courtney, Allison, Amanda and Eric.
