It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Rochacewicz of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his brothers, John (Arleen), Edward (Deborah) and Thomas Rochacewicz (Robert); his niece Jill Rolfe (Craig); his nephew Edward Jr. Rochacewicz (Jacquelyn); and his great-nieces, Emma and Lucy Rochacewicz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home (44 Bay Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Valentine Church (125 N Spring St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (28 Cottage St, Jersey City, NJ 07306).
