With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Holzel of Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ehrhard Holzel of Berlin and Margaret "Gretchen" of Montclair; his sons, Steve and Tom; his wife Patricia Smith of Montclair, NJ; his brother Thomas Holzel of Litchfield, CT; his sister-in-law Dianne Holzel; his nephew Peter Holzel; and his nieces, Maggie Lange and Elise Smith. He was also cherished by his mother, and stayed close with his extended family members and many friends.
