He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Carandang and Marta Aranda Carandang; and his siblings, Ruperto Carandang, Nano Carandang and Maria Lipat.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Austria Carandang; his children, Ramil, Eva Carandang, Renee, Gaspar Clacer, Roland and Maeann Carandang; his siblings, Oren Garcia, Ramon Carandang, Concordia Magsino and Antonio Carandang; and his grandchildren, Noah, Hudson, Finlay, Ellis and Justin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
