We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2021, at the age of 61, Piyada Bondar (Bloomfield, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pakdee and Noi; her siblings, Sangnapar, Veerachai and Apron; her children, Nitayada and Pichai; her former husband Paul Bondar; her sibling Nitayada Giordano; her son Salvatore Giordano; her son-in-law Brandon; her grandson Pichai Gullsri; her daughter Alexandra DeMasi; and her friend Claudio.

Cremation will be private. "As of July 26, 2021, the Infectious Disease Department at the hospital deemed her no longer contagious for COVID-19 and allowed visitation.".

“Mama Yada was the best! Her Bergenfield place by the railroad tracks gave us a welcoming smile & superb Thai dishes - a godsend. I enjoyed expressing Thai greetings with & thank you's to her, as her Thai warmth took me back to my Thailand days & the street food I always enjoyed. Simple delicious, many fragrances & flavors. Her passing is loss of a 'Thai Treasure' & the flavors of Thailand in Northern NJ. We shall truly miss her & our brief chats. She gained much tham bun for her next life. R.B.”
