He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jozef Wnek and Apolonia Wnek (Baran); his wife Irena Czurczak; his children, Zbigniew Wnek (Marta), Danuta Piatkowski (Grzegorz) and Andrzej Wnek (Danuta); his grandchildren, Mateusz (Bethany), Bartosz Piatkowski, Rafal Wnek, Monica Wnek, Alan Wnek and Krystian; his great grandchildren, Marcin Jr., Kai, Elliot, Lukasz, Veronica and Nicholas; and his brothers, Stanislaw, Franciszek, Feliks, Jan, Taduesz and Bronislaw.
