With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Octavio Padilla (Bloomfield, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Elias Padilla. He is survived by: his mother Carmen Padilla; his children, Elysha Vega (Edwin) and Andre Padilla; his granddaughter Isabelle Vega; and his siblings, Elias, Manda (Elisa) and Fernando. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1st from 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm. a facial covering is required and standard social distancing practices must be followed at all times. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Lucy's Church in Newark at 10am, all who would like to attend are to meet at the church- there will be no gathering at the funeral home, temperature checks will be administered upon entry, a facial covering is required and standard social distancing practices must be followed, thence to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington for the burial.
