He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn; his parents, Martin Prokipchak and Julia Kubat; his siblings, Leona Quigley and Robert Prokipchak; and his children, Cathy Palagonia and Allan A. Palagonia.
He is survived by: his son James Palagonia; his grandchildren, Jennifer K. Hughes (Bill), Erin Gagne (Alan) and A. J. Palagonia; and his great grandchildren, A. J., Madeline Hughes, Nickolas, Ashley, Tristan Gagne and Gianna Palagonia. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
