He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cheplic and Irene Cheplic. He is survived by: his wife Irene Cheplic; his children, Christopher Cheplic and Carole Pasternak; his daughter-in-law Lisa Cheplic; and his grandchildren, Carter Pasternak, Andrew Pasternak, Tatum Cheplic and Laila Cheplic.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services (1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Saint Thomas the Apostle Church (60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:15 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
