She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph F. Gruendel; her parents, Harry Phillips and Clara Phillips; and her siblings, Harry Phillips, Alice Alexander, Caroline Yesulitis and Robert Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph, Carolyn Charles (Pat Charles), Michelle, Lisa Reilly (Paul Reilly, Jr.) and Jennifer; and her grandchildren, Connor, Jake, Donovan and Mikey. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
