He was predeceased by: his son Brian Purcell; and his daughter-in-law Karen Purcell. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his sons, Gerry (Ellen), Timothy, Kevin (Deirdre) and Patrick (Kathleen); his daughter-in-law Anne Long of Seattle, WA.; and his grandchildren, Connor, Brian, Ryan, Sean, Eileen, Jamie, Michael, Kieran and Alison.
