He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Robert; his wife Mary; his son David; and his siblings, Gordon, Don and Marge.

He is survived by: his children, John (Monica), Jean, Louie, Rosemary, Eileen and Paul (Penny).

The Club was rebuilt, reopened and, despite some ups and downs, is thriving with a pre-Covid level of membership.
