The passing of Joan Marie Whelpley of Bloomfield, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 8, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kinahan and Mary Ellen Kinahan; her son Edwin Whelpley III; and her siblings, John Kinahan (Delores), Raymond Kinahan (Jessie), Mary Chieco (John), Katherine Jacob (John), Delores Clancy (Gerald), Patrick Kinahan (Ida) and Edward Kinahan (Olga).

She is survived by: her husband Edwin; her children, Elizabeth Anastasides (Gregg), Joan Muscara (Joseph), Rose Sibilia (Joseph), Sally Hedden (Thomas) and John Whelpley (Joanne); her grandchildren, Dana (Elvis), Gregg (Angelica), Joey (Maria), Matthew, Paige (Sebastian), Joseph, John, Ryan and Deanna; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Ariyon, James, Easton, Olivia and Vincent.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Boyle Funeral Home (309 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
