It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Perna of Bloomfield, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Rose; her husband Anthony; and her son Anthony. She is survived by: her children, Gerard Perna, Maria Perna-Elias and Michele Perna; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Jessi and Jenna Perna-Elias.
Since one of her greatest joys was cooking and feeding her family and friends, the family has requested in lieu of flowers, that a donation be made to Feeding America (http://www.feedingamerica.org) in her memory.
