She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alfred and Lillian Peterson (Pearl); her husband Edward Kane; and her brothers, Reginald and Stanley Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Kane (Joyce), Robert Kane (Sue), Michael Kane (Karen) and Deborah Tyler (John); and her grandchildren, Edward, Kevin, Christopher, Daniel, Brian, Jessica, Kim, Andrew, Elizabeth, Laura and Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
