The memory of Helen Niemira (Bloomfield, New Jersey), who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 102, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Karnas and Stefania Karnas; her siblings, Walter, Ben, Henry, Cazy, Chet Karnas and Rose Potocki; and her husband Alfred Niemira.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lillian Tvedt of Toms River, NJ and Julie Hungerford of Little River, SC; and her children, Denise (John) of Newport, VT, Michele (Paul) of Brick, NJ and Nancy (David Niemira) of Harvard, MA. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Newport, VT to be closer to her daughter during the pandemic.
