He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Melillo; his son Michael Melillo (Dara Klatsky); his siblings, Gloria Zangari (Peter) and Sal Melillo (Betty); his mother-in-law Madeline Verlingo; his sisters-in-law, Janet Gargano (Frank), Susan Verlingo and Nancy Fassett (Wayne); and his nieces and nephews, Adrienne, Peter, Craig, Elaine and Paul.
