Eugene Black Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Black of Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on January 10, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Black to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Black and Mabel Ford Black; his grandsons, Kyle and Cody Black; his siblings, Lorene Yeager, Glenndale Black, Mavis Black and James Curtis "Curt" Black; and his grandparents, Callie Mae Starkey and Walter Black.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce (Richard Covaleski) and Larry (Amy); his granddaughters, Karley Black, Riley, Alexandra and Anya Covaleski; and his brother Hugo Black (Diane). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Gene's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, doctors, physician assistants, and staff of Regional Hospital of Scranton's ER, 9th Floor, and 7th Floor COVID Unit who served as their eyes and ears these past two weeks, and special thanks to Sarah at the front desk.
