She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Romualdo Matilla and Juana Matilla; her husband Aramis Ponte; her daughter Ruth Cruz (Ponte) of Highland Lakes, NJ; her brothers, Juan Antonio, Jose Luis and Juan Ignacio; her son Aramis Ponte (Crystal Proenza-Ponte) of Nutley, NJ; and her grandchildren, Catarina, Isabella, Sofia and Aramis Knight. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
