He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Chalet and Rosa Chalet; and his brothers, Nicholas Chalet, Jarjoura Chalet, Miled Chalet, Stan Chalet and Miguel Chalet.
He is survived by: his wife Nafleh Chalet; his children, Rodni Chalet (Lisette), Leo Chalet (Nicole), Nelly Nauman (Mark) and Raline Sexton (Matthew); his grandchildren, Isabelle, Mark, Ava, Matthew, Brittany, Ema, Emily, Edward, Leila, Eliana, William, Lola and Lia; his siblings, Najib Chalet, Nelly Dagher, Bernadette Chalet and Johanna Hawley; and his son Bloomfield Best Bagels. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mr. Chalet's memory.
