He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Sofia; his parents, John Gault and Mary Eva Gault (Ryan); and his sister Gladys Holder. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Gault (Lamb); his sons, John (Jennifer) and Robert (Melissa); his grandchildren, Gracie, Jack, Erin and Cavan; his siblings, Daisy Armstrong, Jean McMullan, Annie Carruthers, George and Charles Gault; and his nieces and nephews, England and Ireland.

“Dear joanne, john, &robert, i read with sadness of the passing of your beloved husband and father. He was truly a wonderful man and i’ll always remember his kindness to me and my daughter, stacey when we were your tenants upstairs. Alfred was a hard worker and a good friend and neighbor to all who knew him. I’m thinking of all of you at this time and sending my prayers.
