He was predeceased by: his brothers, Peter and Robert Rhinesmith. He is survived by: his wife Rose Rhinesmith (Kaplow); his children, Jeff Rhinesmith (Robin) and Jill Ryan (Sean); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Conner Rhinesmith, Bridget, Jack and Liam Ryan.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the William J Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930).
