He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lomax and Leona Lomax (Folkner). He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Lomax and Scott Lomax; his grandchildren, Sandi Kirshen (Ames), Jake and Dylan Kirshen; his siblings, Sue Ann Whisman, Nancy L. Gray and Kenneth A. Lomax (Robyn); and his close friends, Janet Lynn Heise and Lois Sadowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105..Arrangements under the direction of Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown, NJ.
