It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Efstratios Korakas of Blairstown, New Jersey, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Savvas and Eleni (Moshelias); and his father-in-law Savvas Cassotis. He is survived by: his wife Zoe; his children, Savvas, George (Angelica) and Eleni-Anna (Christos Stamataros); his grandchildren, Nio and Adriana Korakas; his mother-in-law Anna Cassotis; and his brothers, George of Lemnos and Stratis of Athens. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Because Stratis was a giver and not a taker his whole life, we ask that in lieu of flowers you donate in his memory to the Agape Fund of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church or your favorite charity.
