Christine Anne McAvoy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2025, at the age of 66, Christine Anne McAvoy of Blairstown, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Christine Anne McAvoy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio DiRoma (Pete) and Dorothy DiRoma (Dot); and her brothers-in-law, Fred Schuld and Al Guenther. She is survived by: her husband Charles McAvoy; her sons, Charles III (Danielle), Kevin and Ryan; her grandchildren, Jaelynn and Jacen; her siblings, Tony DiRoma (Jill), Kathy Schuld and Fran Soranno (Bill); and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Davenport, Maureen Guenther and Terri McAvoy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newbaker Funeral Home (200 NJ-94, Columbia, NJ 07832). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jude RC Church (7 Eisenhower Rd, Columbia, NJ 07832). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at 30 Cemetery Rd, Great Meadows, NJ 07838. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Pequest Union Cemetery (36 Cemetery Rd, Great Meadows, NJ 07838).
