Carmine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michele Vitale and Irene Vitale of Caposele; and his siblings, Thomas Vitale, Salvatore Vitale, Camille Vecchione and Concetta DeGiovine.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his daughter Michelle Tansey (Michael Tansey); his grandchildren, Mike Tansey and Rachel Tansey; his great grandchild John William Montgomery V; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Scelfo and Phyllis Scelfo. He is also survived by the love of his life, whom he married.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Megaro Memorial Home, Inc. (503 Union Ave, Belleville, NJ 07109). A Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St Lucy's Church (118 7th Ave, Newark, NJ 07104). An entombment was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Chapel (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
