She was predeceased by: her husband Leland H. Bassett; and her children, Thomas Bassett and Leland Bassett Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Perretti, Celeste Clemons, Jeffrey Bassett, Steven Bassett Sr., Alan Bassett, Charles Bassett Sr., Melanie Bassett, Germaine Egrie and Matthew Bassett. She is also survived by her brothers, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
