She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Butler and Henry Harris; her husband Eugene Gould; and her niece Linda Burgess. She is survived by: her sister Susie May Burgess (MD); her children, Gilberto Cruz, Jr. (Peggy), Carlos Cruz (Rose), Paula Watkins (James) and Gary Gould; her grandchildren, Nikkena Sterling (John), Gilberto Cruz III, Brittany Renee Slade, J. Anthony Cruz (Brittani), Gary Gould Jr., Lester Contante, Angelika Tillett (Ryan), Kimberly Ortiz-Ramirez (Fernando), Gary Gould III and Gracie Gould; and her nephew Terry Burgess. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
