He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Vessella; his children, Karen Johnston (Tim), Charles Vessella, Tina Vessella and Edward Vessella III; his stepchildren, Sal Siciliano and Joan Feuerstein (Bill); and his siblings, Catherine Valente, Dolores Boggs, Marie Latini (Vincent), Albert Vessella and Anthony Vessella (Joann). He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
