He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Whitehead and Thomas W. Whitehead, Sr.; his stepfather Joseph Gallagher; and his sister Joanne Ponto (Linc). He is survived by: his wife Irene "Pat" Whitehead; his children, Michelle P. Fisler (Jim) and Thomas W. Whitehead III (Keesha); his grandchildren, Michael S. Beecher III, Joseph A. Gray, Emily Fisler and Mikey Murray; his brother Robert Whitehead (Eileen); his godson Richard Ponto (Christina); and his nephews, Brad (Dorothy) and Kevin Ponto (Noell). He is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a multitude of good friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Earle Funeral Home - Blackwood (122 W Church St, Blackwood, NJ 08012). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (240 S Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094).
