He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Carr and Blanche Carr; his son Douglas, Jr. (Lisa Jackson); his grandchildren, Chloe, Danny, Jason, Lianna, Nina, Alex, Nicole, Brittney, Dougie, Lexi and Jordan; and his siblings, Stephen, Darby, Kevin (Holly) and Kathy Creedon.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jackson-Carr; and his children, Stephanie (Corrado DePinto), Samantha Carr, Judy (Chris Czako) and William Jackson.
A Life Member of VFW Post 10152 for over 47 years, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Lt. Robert A. Madden, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10152, P.O. Box 96, Ogdensburg, NJ 07439.
