He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gontarek and Alfreda Gontarek; his son Vincent James Gontarek; and his brother Walter Gontarek (Barbara). He is survived by: his children, Eugene W. Gontarek Jr. (Terri), Joseph Gontarek (Belinda), Christine Windsor (Tommy) and Helen Gontarek; and his siblings, Richard Gontarek (late Maxine), Carol Ann Horstmann (Henry), Gloria Szymanski (Al), Leonard Gontarek (Cathy), Veronica A. Gontarek, Arlene M. Gontarek and Alfred V. Gontarek (Joann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their families and many friends.
