He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Biel and Margaret Biel. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Biel (Ujobagy); his sisters, Margaret Griffith and Susan Calvin; and his sister-in-law Pat Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
