It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Louise MacAro (Bernardsville, New Jersey), born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Mattei and Edina Mattei; her husband Armand F. Macaro; and her siblings, William, Henry, John, Servio and Edina Pillarella.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Falconeri (Louis); her grandchildren, Daniela Albright (John), Anthony Falconeri, Michele Smith (John) and Michael Falconeri; her great grandchildren, Juliana, Emma, Joanna, Nicholas, Thomas and Matthew; and her sister Alba Chironna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anita's name to Bernardsville Fire Company No. 1.
