He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Nancy and William. He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Heron (William) and Sandy Fowler (Karl); and his daughter-in-law Edie Newport. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
