He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Julia Ranoia; his parents, Anthony Ranoia and Philomena Ranoia of South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.; and his cousins, Joseph Nocito and Margaret "Peggy" Villari.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Ranoia Alonso (John) and Joseph J. Ranoia, Jr. (Erica); his grandchildren, Dr. Victoria Alonso, Elizabeth Julia Alonso and Michael Ranoia; and his sister-in-law Elaine Mayo of West Chester, Pennsylvania..
Viewing was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Simon Stock Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (178 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (300 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School Athletic Association in Coach Joe Ranoia's name would be appreciated.
