He was predeceased by: his former wife Lois Scarnaty; and his wife Helen Scarnaty. He is survived by: his children, Diane Hamelink of Toms River, Peter Scarnaty of Toms River, Michael Scarnaty of Florida and Suzi Fortuna of Toms River; and his siblings, Raymond Scarnaty of Pennsylvania and Rose Marie of New Jersey. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
