Smethers (Berkeley Township, New Jersey), born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Castner and Charles Castner; her husband Charles "Gus" Smethers (Gus); her siblings, Thomas, William, Robert, Larry, Donald, John and Jean Ann; and her son-in-law Phillip Simone.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Simone and Susan Richardson; her son-in-law David Richardson; her grandchildren, Philip, Charles, Michael and Katherine; her great grandchildren, Jianna, Alexa and Joan; and her siblings, Rose, Dorothy, Dolores and Ron.
