It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille A. Wefer of Berkeley Township, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Wefer; her parents, Robert Petersen and Mary Petersen; and her siblings, Miriam Rooney, Claire Petersen and Robert Petersen.
She is survived by: her children, Richard P. Wefer (Susan) of Vernon, NJ and Jean P. Franco (Robert) of Monroe, NJ.; her grandchildren, Allison Ryan (Matthew), Daniel Franco, Eric Wefer, Richard J. Wefer (Katharine) and Marc Franco; and her great grandchildren, Claire and Tyler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
