He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi D'Elia and Filomena D'Elia; his wife Mildred D'Elia; and his brothers, Jerry D'Elia and Salvatore D'Elia.

He is survived by: his children, Donna D'Elia-Crudele (James), Louis D'Elia (Lily) and Michael D'Elia (Cecile); and his grandchildren, James, Lauren and Michael.
