He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Coakley and Margaret Coakley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sherrier Coakley; his sons, Joseph Coakley (Cindy) of Wilmington, Brian Coakley of Celebration, Florida and Jeff Coakley (Joyce) of Howell; and his grandchildren, Jeffery (Ashley), Christopher, Brian, Katie, Maureen, Sean, Matthew, Joseph and John.
