He is survived by: his wife Frances Della Penna of Berkeley Twp; his children, Frances Sabato of Toms River, NJ, John W. Della Penna of West Milford, NJ and Scott Della Penna (Joan) of Haskell, NJ; and his brother Robert Della Penna (Joanne) of Ocala.
